One Dress/Three Cardigans: Styling with Pantone Fashion Color Report, Fall 2017

Did you know that every season the team at the Pantone Color Institute evaluates the colors shown by fashion designers in their collections at New York Fashion Week? This information is then used to create The PANTONE Fashion Color Report where they highlight the top 10 colors for men’s and women’s fashion for the upcoming season. For the first time this year, they have also assessed London Fashion Week and given a report for that as well.

For this look, I styled a Diane von Furstenberg multicolor striped tank midi dress with there different cardigans (the tan duster is by Vince from Off Saks Fifth Avenue and yellow and navy cardigans are from J Crew). Cardigans are essential for fall as they help transition non-fall closet pieces to the season. J Crew offers a great color range for Cardigans, check them out here. It gives me great joy to know that this look actually (inadvertently) combines many of the colors from the London fashion color palette (Otter, Navy Peony, Lemon Curry, Golden Olive, Blue Bell, and Toast)–#SoOnTrend (LOL!)

My hand bag is by Louis Vuitton: the Pochette Metis (check it out here).

I love this look. But as you know with all things, price affects my ability to truly appreciate it. So please sometimes add what we should expect to pay for certain looks.

Thank you so much for your feedback. For this particular article, I was focused more on the colors than the actual pieces. In all the other articles on the blog, I give specific details and options in different price ranges from $-$$$. I really appreciate your checking out the blog.
