Valentine’s Day Lookbook 2018–Volume 2

To be honest, Valentine’s day is not that sacred to my husband and me–we tend to treat it like any other day really. This is because the spirit of Valentine’s day (expression of love) hovers around many other days in our marriage that are not February 14th.  What I do love about Valentine’s day, as an unabashed fashion lover, are all the shades of red and pink that fire up my creative juices when it comes to style inspiration. With this (and the previous) blog post, I have allowed the frustrated stylist in me to run wild and free. I created six looks each inspired by a female archetype and what she would wear on a Valentine’s day date.

Here are the last three:

The Goal Digger

She has always known the value of hard work and has never backed down from a challenge. Her success can be perplexing to many–they either assume she comes from money or dated into money. Her tough exterior and scorching ambition can be intimidating and often come across as frigid and calculating. But don’t be fooled–the man who recognizes the beauty in her drive will get hooked on the passion in her soul.

The Yummy Mummy

This woman loves to take care of her family but also takes great care of herself.  She has zero interest in winning the Pageant crown, but Ms. Congeniality right here still knows how to earn the high marks. Her love is intoxicating yet wholesome because she is the perfect mixture of madam et mademoiselle.
