Effortlessly Chic Fall Look: Styling a Double-Breasted Long Trench Vest as a Dress

I like to maximize my closet pieces by finding new and creative ways to style them. Buying quality pieces can cost a pretty penny, so why not make them work double or triple duty, so that you get a much deeper closet and the biggest bang for you buck.

In this look, I have styled a Vince Camuto long double-breasted trench vest as a dress. Fall is all about layering and the trench vest easily lends itself to this plan. One has to remember though, if you are going to use a trench as a dress, then you must gauge the weather appropriately as you do not want to get too hot and not be able to take off any layers because you have worn the vest as a dress (could get awkward–LOL!)
