Chanel Inspired: Black Tweed Jacket with Pearl Buttons with Black Quilted Leather Booties
I have been searching for a tweed jacket and a black blazer for a while now. On a recent trip to New York, I had the opportunity to shop at Zara and I found a black tweed jacket that blends both needs superbly (score!) This jacket also features pearl button details on the front, piped front pockets and frayed hems and lapels. It is a beauty! It exudes legit Chanel vibes, and with a price tag of $129, I was sold (I even did the cabbage patch dance in the fitting room—that is how thrilled I was—LOL!)
This jacket will work in a suit paired with nice dress pants, a skirt or a dress; it will also work as a fall jacket, styling it as an over coat. Click here to buy the Zara Jacket (Size XXS to XL–I am wearing XL). For this post, I styled this holy-grail tweed jacket with a black racer-back camisole by Splendid $26.60 (click here to buy), black faux leather leggings from ASOS $35 (click here to buy), black quilted booties from Nordstrom Rack $29 (no longer available), a Chanel CC gold and pearl brooch, and Chanel Classic Flap bag in black lambskin (Size Jumbo).
The sweet joy of the black booties I am wearing is that, despite its amazingly affordable price, they are so reminiscent (in look and quality) of the Valentino spike quilted booties that cost $1595 (pictured below, click here to buy). Click here for this similar looking pair by Vaneli that cost $194.
Click here for this high street dupe of the Chanel Classic flap from Ainifeel that cost $119. Please note—this is not a replica or a fake Chanel—this is a black leather quilted bag with leather chain strap that looks just like the Chanel 2.55 reissue flap bag (no fake monograms, labels or closures).
So, what do you think about this Zara Jacket and how I styled it? What do you think about the other items? Please share your thoughts in the comment section below.
Cheers,
Chichi
