Sporty-Chic Fall Look: Target Sweatshirt with BCBG Max Azria Pleated Skirt

Styling a very feminine item like a pleated skirt with a graphic sweatshirt is so oxymoronically inspiring. This kind of look can be full sporty versus medium to low sporty based on the accessories you choose (sneakers versus pumps, sporty tote versus lady-like handbag etc). I went for medium to low sporty in this look.

I styled a grey graphic sweatshirt by Target line Xhilaration $16.99 (it is actually part of their sleepwear line…LOL) with a dark green pleated midi skirt by BCBG Max Azria $89 (on sale from their outlet store), leopard print rock stud pumps and black rockstud glamlock handbag. It is a very fun, very comfortable, very stylish (blog-worthy) yet approachable look that will work for brunch with friends, after-work happy hour (easily transitions from day to night by changing shoes and handbag), or for a dinner date when you want to say “hi, I’m stylish but not snobbish.” I mean, who wouldn’t want to be (with) this girl 😉
